Ashley Warokomski
Tutoring
About:
Hi, I'm Ashley! I specialize in helping college students master some of the most challenging courses: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Calculus.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Delaware (Class of 2021), where I spent three years as a teaching assistant for CHEM101–104 and the general chemistry labs. I've taken UD chemistry and calculus courses myself, worked behind the scenes as a TA, and have years of experience tutoring students through them- so I know exactly how they run and what's expected.
Because I know these courses inside and out, I can pinpoint where students typically get stuck and guide them through with clarity and confidence. I teach the core material thoroughly in an easy-to-understand way, but what really sets me apart is my extensive knowledge of the course structure, professor expectations, and exam styles. I know exactly what the exams require and how to prepare for them, leaving students with clarity and confidence. Whether you're just trying to keep up or aiming to excel, I'll help you master the material and earn grades you're proud of.

What sets my tutoring apart?
Structure! I am not the kind of tutor who will just help you cram for exams. I guide you through your entire semester with a clear plan, proven strategies, and week-by-week support.
My approach is structured, personalized, and proactive- designed to help you stay ahead instead of playing catch-up. I hold you accountable, help you stay on track, and build your knowledge gradually so you're fully prepared come exam time.
I don't just help you through your classes. I help you build skills and confidence that will carry you through college and beyond. My goal is to help you reach your full potential and show you how capable you are at doing really difficult things.
How I help students succeed:
-
Identify exactly where you're stuck and break the concepts down in a clear, approachable way
-
Teach repeatable step-by-step problem solving strategies that actually work
-
Connect what you're learning in lecture to real exam-style questions
-
Provide individualized extra practice to build your confidence and exam readiness
-
Hold you accountable and ensure you know exactly what to study between sessions, tailored to your learning style and goals.

When I was a student, I couldn’t find this kind of individualized support—and that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about providing it now. I believe that every student is capable of success with the right support!
What drives me:

I'm an entrepreneur at heart, and my passion for education led me to build a tutoring business grounded in independence, integrity, and purpose.

I live on Long Island with my dog, Nova. Outside of work, you'll find me trying out new recipes (I love to cook!), doing something outside in nature (I love to ski, hike, and am currently learning how to golf!), or attending as many concerts as possible. I care a lot about wellness- mental, physical, and emotional- and I bring that same care into my work with students.

Tutoring isn't just a job to me. I see it as a way to empower students. I've been in their shoes and know how overwhelming these courses can feel. But with the right support, everything can change. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping students realize they can do difficult things and are far more capable than they think.
When you work with me, you're not just getting help with chemistry or calculus. You're gaining a partner in your academic success who will cheer you on every step of the way.
